One evening when we were anchored here on one hook the wind changed 180 degrees. It was a very gentle breeze and we didn't notice until we dragged gently into five boats which were rafted near us. Try as we did we couldn't get away from them. Finally we had to start the engine which caused a real panic aboard the raft-up. It was about 4:00 AM and the sound of the engine woke everybody aboard all the boats from a sound sleep... OOps!

Just behind the breakwater J.P. Morgan built for his yacht and before the mooring field is a nice space of open anchorage. The bottom isn't perfect here. I've dragged a time or two but it's fine as long as the weather isn't too feisty.
