Harbor
Voices, Terry Walton's new anthology of articles by and about
the watermen of New York Harbor presents one of the most thorough,
complete and cogent pictures of the working waterfront of New York
that I've ever seen.
As huge and sprawling as such a creation has to be, Ms. Walton has
condensed and capsulized its parts into a neat collage that makes
sense of the complex interaction that is New York's working
waterfront.
